05 July Punk: define it.NOTE: Haters don't send me uncreative comments saying that I wish I were punk. Because quite frankly, I'm not even sure the whole "punk" issue is worth hating me for. I don't wish I was punk. I am simply questioning the definition of punk & how society has changed the word around. Punk. A word I have heard so many times during the course of my life. So what does society define it as? Some say it shouldn't be defined. Others date it back to "the punk revolution". A few don't care. I have written this blog in uttermost confusion. It's as if everywhere I look, there are girls labelling themselves as a "punk princess". A punk princess? That's new. What in the world is a "punk princess"? A "punk girl" that decided she wanted to be a princess? Or a mere teenybopper admiring the punk style wishing like hell they were "a punk". What the fuck? Punk. Is punk dead? Was punk ever alive? For you to believe that punk was either dead or alive at one stage, you must first be able to define it to your heart's content. So go on. Define it for me. & I am quite aware that I will get hate comments telling me that you can't really define punk &/or it's something that you should not define but leave it to the true punks & what not. I've got those comments before. Well guess what fuckers? If you know what a "true punk" is & believe you should leave all the punk-ness to them, tell me what a punk is. & another thing. Pop punk music. I am aware I listen to some music that is labelled as "pop punk". But I dunno how it got that label. Or why for that matter. "The new wave of punk" some call it. Psh. Whatever. It's decent music & I like it. Not because it's the new "in thing". & for the record, I listen to any music that sounds good. Plus, I don't like to label the music I listen to. But back to "punk". If you listen to apparent punk music does that make you "a punk"? If you decide anarchy is the way to go does that make you "a punk"? Who in the world decided punks were all anarchists anyway. Do you not agree, society has changed the word punk around from what it first meant? If you answered yes, you must be pretty confident about your definition of punk. Care to share? Also, what is with this "emo" thing? Why do people hate the "new style of emo's"? It's a bit superficial & demeaning. But in conclusion, everyone is just a mere human. On another note, parent / teacher was yesterday & we also got our reports. I had a good report. I came first in... IST & Commerce so I was all good. & My English teacher didn't have a go at me in parent / teacher! Funny funny.

Well I shall start by saying that it was my birthday last Friday! [on the 19th] & my party was Saturday. & it was a pretty awesome party if I can say so myself. So not too many people came but the 11 people that were there made it a night to remember. I can't be bothered going into specific details but Jono found love again [he's done so at every single party of mine that he's gone to which is odd], Nikki & Sam told us they have a thing for someone [which many people found surprising], Mitchell F received a very very kinky prank phone call from Mat, I finally ended up talking to Fenech [awesome name <3] & freeked him out, Sarah H admitted she has a thing for Ben & Benson [which Amy & I knew anyway], Sarah A sucked Jono's nose [for the billionth time] & Nadia basically attempted to get gossip from everyone. Hmm it doesn't sound that interesting when it's written but it was bloody awesome. Plus I got wicked gifts [love you all <3].
Jono & Amy are finally going out. He told her he wanted her at my party & Nadia & I convinced him to ask her out. I think it's a bit odd when people are like, "Will you go out with me?" & then that's what makes a guy & a chick go out but meh, people still do it. & many people reckon they make a pretty un-co couple. Well I must admit, it is a bit funny. But seriously, he's had a thing for her for like, 1 year now. Hmm.
Also, my parents are way cool & got me a new phone
 it's a Nokia 6280, you know the one all the companies are advertising? Yeah well I've had it for a week & a day but the sim card is still not activated. Lol. Well the phone is pretty rad, you can do black & white photos! Yup, that's basically the only reason I wanted it lol.& I'm so happy coz test week is over!!!
I don't know how I went but I know I can't muck up because it all goes towards my School Certificate. Bleh.Oh & Greece lost against Australia which is kinda sukky coz I was going for Greece. I even painted my nails blue & white! But meh, the Blues won so I'm all good.

So what have we all been up to since I last updated my space? Yes, I don't use this space very much. Probably coz I'm almost always on myspace.com or bebo. And hardly anybody likes me on here anyway. If you're one of the few that do, show some love.
One of the things I have taken some care to notice is that YOUR is the new UR or YOU'RE. Funny 'tis. I also made some other amazing discoveries which escape me at the moment. So why do people say "your" instead of the regular and normal "you're"? Is it the new "in" thing? Or is it merely their spelling error. Well whatever the reason, it's everywhere and people even mean to type it that way which is kind of lame to me.
Oh and also why do people say "HEART" on MSN and in blogs and what not? I mean, it's not as if they go around saying, "I heart you, do you heart me?" And it's weird, on MSN some people write, "
 i heart you ____". Like what the fuck? They just made two hearts and yet they said "heart". I know I'm sounding very bitchy at the moment but it's not all my fault. Well not entirely. I don't know who's fault it is but it's not mine. Jeez I also sound a bit random.Well on another note, one of the few people I liked from primary school wants to have a reunion after we've completed our School Certificate. I think that's a terrible idea as I didn't get on with many people from my primary. But he is convinced it will be for the good so whatever. Anyway he sent emails to people from the both of us which I thought was very rude of him although half the people replied. I wish they didn't. I don't wanna see them again but as my friends tell me now, I could go back and think about how happy I am that I don't have to put up with them anymore. <333 24 March mufti yesterday/poemwell i felt twoz in need for a new blog...so here i go...
well school is going same old...we just started this maths challenge thing for "gifted students". i didn't know i counted. but apparently i do. it's all good...we're just doing practises though...
oh && we had a maths test today in which i kept seeing the number 3 so most of my answers were 3 or had something to do with the number 3. for example, 1 question said draw the figure with a 1.5 times enlargement factor && i thought it said "3 times" so i multiplied everything by 3. for some odd reason that amused my mates.
anywho, yesterday woz a mufti day && the walk for lauren huxley. our school got on the news! && so did arash lol he looked amusing
oh && you can check my space for pics of yesterday...there's not much though which reminds me...me, amy, sarah, nikki, sam, cassie && her sister [liz] were walking for the walk for lauren huxley [funny that] && then we realised the people in front of us were going slow as all hell. so then amy goes [without knowing how loud she woz], "man i hate it when people walk so slow && take up the whole space. we should just push past && say excuse me important people coming through". && the year 12 guys in front of us heard that && then 1 goes to the other, "i think they wanna go past us". && he woz like, "OH they want a race? okay then let's go". && they turned around, looked at us && started walking loads fast. haha it woz sooo funny. so then me && amy left the group && raced them lol. we ended up winning of course && they thought we were oh-so amusing just coz i turned around a few times, not to look at them, but to find out where the others were. but of course they thought i loved 'em.
so then after the walk we did a stupid conga line which woz kinda funny coz we had all the metal-heads behind us && just listening to them made us amused. i think they realised. the conga line woz to get in the guiness world records...so odd...
anywho, when we were walking to our roll calls to collect our bags;; one of the year 12 guys we raced were walking && we caught sight of each other && then just cracked up laughing. && then as we walked on he turned around && yelled something at me but i didn't quite catch wot he said
ahh well...&& then all through lunch their group kept looking at me && i don't bloody know why...but he did think i want him which is kind of wrong. meh.

yes yes well im in a very...umm...hurried && annoyed mood. school is just so damn annoying and its really starting to get to me [everything about it, i mean]. grr. oh well.
at the moment, im stuck here doing some sort of geography homework thats 16 bloody questions long with plotting around 30 things on a map. like wot the fuck? who does that to a person? apart from our sukki teacher of course. fuck and hell.
so. im sure youre probably wondering wot happened on valentines day with the card my mate && i were gonna send. well you might be wondering that if youve scrolled down && saw in big letters in my previous blog wondering wot to write in a card to make a girl jealous. well you might not even be wondering. but nevertheless im going to inform you anyway.
so it woz the day before valentines day right, && my mate decided to be away [noting that it woz her idea in the 1st place] && i woz left to ponder over wot the fuck to write. so i messaged her && she woz like "oh wotever i dont really care" so i thought hmm okay why not then. but i ran out of time to buy it from the school coz the bell went so all in all we never sent the card to him. very thrilling, i know.
hmm yes. im not too sure about wot else that happened. o well we have to go for effing work experience so im like trying to try the effing bank but.....i keep forgetting to go x| yeh i know. ahh well. maybe later.
ive also realised my timetable next year is going to be somewot boring. but nevertheless im not changing it lol. oh && instead of doing sport next year, im doing a tafe course. wot tafe course? i have basically no idea. okay thats not true;; maybe one in photography or a business one or a science/chemistry one. probably one of those;; most likely the photography one.

now people have decided to rename it: emotional rock.
right this entry is for people who love to label me/other people emo && say its disappointing that they are.
in your mind;; wot exactly makes up an "emo person"? because some people reckon its all about crying && saying their life sucks. i disagree with this.
emo is an now an on-going trend that many believe is a new one.
its not.
emo's have been around for yonks now;; years. at first it woz all about the music but now, in the modern times, people have seemed to change it to including cutting yourself and saying things such as "my life sucks i want to die i wish i were dead". this is a mock, in my mind.
&& then there are the type of people that get labelled "emo" && believe they are really not when the majority of people that know them, if not all, are convinced they are. the person being labelled becomes most disappointed with this result && tends to break down && complain [in some cases;; moreso]. i believe that they deny they are seemingly emo because they werent opting for that style at all;; but more punk or goth.
then there are the type that reckon emo people are attention seekers && all cut their wrists for attention. some emo people dont even cut themselves. it doesnt make them any less emo. how did cutting yourself become so big, anyway?
also, back in the day, emo's were quite a small group indeed. it woznt supposed to go full mainstream && attract the mainstreamers as it does today. emo's as a group have suddenly expanded && the emo haters;; moreso.
also;; apparently [according to someone who shall remain nameless];; emo is not about the music && the personality anymore...its suddenly gone to include your dressing, your appearance && wot your views are on this matter.
these days some people believe that you can be anything you want to be;; && begin to be obsessed with the punk culture. these amazed people think that they are so hardcore wearing supre's 'punk' clothes && start to create the idea that they, themselves, are punk. why do people go for punk? some believe it is because punk music is more upbeat, cool && sane than the other types of guitar driven music. who really knows.
in conclusion i dont think some emo's are all that bad && to judge them as a whole group is somewot demeaning && lame, plus everyone really needs to get over hating emo's && mocking them.
&& i also realise i am probably going to be hated && labelled with this blog but i really dont care anymore;; go right on ahead;; just make sure you leave a valid space address that i could comment you on.
wot you all have to remember is that wot i have typed in this blog is all opinionated && not necessarily correct.
